He went to Small Heaven School in Bharatpur, Nepal, for his schooling, then joined Loughborough University in England.

Is Nirmal Nims Purja Married? Who is his Wife?

Nirmal Purja is a married man. He is married to dentist Suchi Purja who graduated from the University of Portsmouth Dental Academy in 2017. 

Suchi is such a supportive wife, and even though the expeditions Nirmal goes on are scary, she supports him either way.

In the interview, she admitted that she was frightened when she did not hear from Nirmal when he went mountain climbing. It was a relief for her when she heard he was okay.

Nirmal and Suchi have been married since 2008. They don’t have any children yet. In June 2020, they got an adorable dog added to the family.

Currently, Nirmal lives with his wife and their dog in Hampshire. The view of his home cannot be any different from the mountains of Nepal, where he was born and raised.

Nirmal started project Possible to try to climb as many mountains as he could in the short time possible. His goal was to climb all the mountains in seven months, but he beat his record and climbed them in six months.

The biggest issue most people had when it came to this venture was how Nirmal would be able to finance all the expedition.

Mountain climbing is very costly, and Nirmal wanted to climb 14 mountains. Nirmal had to develop a way to ensure he could finance the entire venture.

The first thing he did was mortgage his home. He also went online and got some sponsors on board. Aside from that, he did a lot of crowdfunding online, which brought in even more money.

A single expedition cost him about 50000 euros, and he had 14 mountains he planned on climbing. After the sixth mountain, he ran out of funds.
